Associate Optometrist

Are you ready to put your advanced skills and knowledge to work? With locations in Cornwall and Alexandria, SD&G Optometry Clinic is seeking to add a new doctor to our dynamic team. Our practices are equipped with electronic phoropters, OCT, Humphrey Visual Fields, and Optomap (California). Our staff are dedicated and well-trained, including CAO-certified optometric assistants and opticianry students. Our busy dispensaries are supported by an on-site edging lab and our loyal patient base.

Both practices are located about an hour from Montreal or Ottawa. We provide full-scope family eye care, including independent glaucoma management, myopia control, specialty contact lens care, post-stroke vision rehab, and a full-suite dry eye clinic including Lipiscan/Lipiview, IPL and Lipiflow. Doctors interested in vision therapy would have the opportunity to build their own exam and treatment space with our support.

Our new associate would be guaranteed a fully booked, balanced schedule from their first day. We prioritize our associates' schedules first and strive for a strong work/life balance (no weekends). Additional benefits include access to the clinic’s health, dental, and travel insurance program, flexible vacation scheduling, and accommodations if required, located in Cornwall.

A signing bonus would be offered to the successful candidate. Expected earnings for full time practice are $150,000 - $200,000 p.a. by the end of the first full year.
