PepsiCo’s Portfolio Marketing team is looking for a consumer centric, strategic, and results-oriented Associate Field Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role plays an important role in bringing together the marketing teams with the Field Sales organization, to execute against big bets for our beverage brands and be the voice of the consumer with how we amplify programming to be Nationally Great, and Locally Even Better.
Responsibilities
You will lead the Field Marketing agenda to deliver on the following core responsibilities:
Field Communication
Leading all Field Marketing Communication and Connectivity, ensuring field engagement and excitement around national and local business priorities.
Lead all field rollouts – Fast start, 100 Days of Summer, and Finish Start.
Lead all marketing content tied to Field Sales Retail Execution Calls (REC Call), and championing marketing big bets with the field team from coast to coast.
Continuous drive for simplification and productivity for our frontline and HQ cross functional teams.
Local Marketing
Collaborate across sales, sales strat, marketing, and partner teams to execute national focus priorities with excellence by representing the voice of the consumer and the field sales organization.
Lead the planning and execution of key local initiatives including Multi-Cultural occasions, local sports partnerships and events, and regional holidays & events.
Merchandising Tools
Lead all Merchandising and POS Tools development, commercialization, and execution working with Brand, Field, and Externally with Agencies and suppliers.
Lead the development of tools for the field sales team – portfolio solutions; and support/consult development of brand materials.
Lead the development of all national and local tools quantity and distribution lists to ensure the delivery of merchandising tools at the right time and right place.
Leverage best practices from the PFC and PepsiCo US to support PBC agenda.
Qualifications
Successful candidate will possess:
Strong knowledge of PBC business with depth of field experience on DSD execution including GTM along with field processes including Territory Effectiveness.
Ability to influence the agenda with senior stakeholders on both brand and the field.
Work collaboratively with field sales planning team to build and shape best in class field marketing solutions that meet the needs of the consumer.
Ability to inspire and influence agency partners to deliver best in class solutions.
Drive for results through cross functional collaboration to best meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Bias for action to continuously find ways to drive simplification and productivity.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Undergraduate Degree.
2-3 years of working experience.
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum.
Strong knowledge of PBC business, Go to Market (GTM), systems and processes.
Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate and influence in a matrix environment.
Demonstrated leadership capability within a cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships.
Strong analytical skills with a curiosity for understanding consumer behavior.
Experience in Design and/or field execution an asset.
