Associate Dentist

Duties

• Perform comprehensive examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide a wide range of services, including preventive care (cleanings, sealants), restorative treatments (fillings, crowns), and extractions, ensuring high-quality care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to empower them in managing their dental health.
• Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal patient experiences.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using practice management software, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Current dental license in Alberta, with no disciplinary actions
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in general dentistry preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in various dental procedures and familiarity with dental software, such as Curve or equivalent practice management systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $113,499.00-$479,818.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
