The salary range for this position is $62,500- $73,900. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity.

What the day will look like

• Review bids and prepare sunshine letters, surety bonds, and invoice preparation;
• Lead by example and assist colleagues in delivering DAU to clients and prospects;
• Deliver continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;
• Collaborate with fellow colleagues across Canadian branches to deliver the best of Aon to clients and prospects in need of construction advisory service and solutions;
• Identify specific client and prospect needs and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions;
• Ensure all procedures, internal client files, and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;
• Review and revise Surety facilities;
• Coordinate/provide oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;
• Participate in industry-sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;
• Lead by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business;
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Our ideal candidate brings some surety-related experience. They have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a broad range of audiences.

• Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task;
• Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;
• Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
• Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package;
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including both self-directed learning and in-role training.
