Associate Account Executive- General Practice

The salary range for this position is CAD $58,500-$73,900. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. Aon also offers you a generous incentive earning opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
What the day will look like
- Under the direction of the Account Executive, servicing existing clients' portfolios within the risk management group.
- Working on a wide variety of clients, identify specific client risk exposures, as may be required.
- Managing the client renewal process by collaborating with all members of the client service team to ensure coverage is secured and client deliverables are met.
- Receiving and processing client requests and reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, or cancellations.
- Preparing client service summaries, program reports and managing client accounts receivables.
- Assist with establishing account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions.
- Respond to inquiries from client on policy coverages under the direction of the Account Executive as may be required.
- Assist clients with interpretation of insurance clauses within contracts/agreements.
- Explore with the client opportunities for expanded Aon products or services.
- May be required to work with two or more Account Executives.
- Assisting Account Executive in new business initiatives through tasks such as coordinating dissemination of marketing material, prompting regular contact with prospect, assisting in developing new business strategies and account penetration).
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum three (3) years of commercial insurance experience is required.
- Level 1 licence is required; Level 2 license preferred or working towards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven success working collaboratively within a successful team and also working independently with minimum supervision when appropriate.
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the proven ability to multi-task.
- Proven track record of prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
