Who Are We?

Utherverse Digital, Inc. is a software development company whose focus is Virtual Worlds - places where people can come together from all over the world to meet, play, and learn; building their own communities without ever having to leave their home. Our small, international team has worked hard to create a big worldwide community of people from all walks of life.

We are working on a very high-profile platform backed by large industry partners. This platform is already deployed in limited availability. Base functions and services are operational, and the project is supported by a team with industry-leading experience in virtual world and metaverse development.

Who Are You?

We are currently looking for someone who can take some of the workload off our Lead Developer’s plate by combining team task management, technical documentation, and administrative assistance. This will require someone highly organized and detail oriented, with great communication and time management skills. The ideal candidate has some experience in the gaming or software development industry so they understand terms being used and can communicate well with the development and art teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, execution, and monitoring of game design/development visions
  • Manage task boards (keeping them updated, noting progress and blockages, etc.)
  • Identify and anticipate areas Lead Developer needs support in, and assist in finding solutions
  • Write technical documentation
  • Take notes (meetings, discussions, etc.)
  • Manage agendas/scheduling
  • Field/filter communications from staff and third parties (eventually becoming someone people can go to if they have questions)

Requirements:

  • Experience writing technical documentation
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to identify and adapt to different communication styles and personalities
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new practices and changes
  • Willing to learn new skills as needed
  • Excellent asynchronous communication and punctuality
  • Ability to collaborate in a multi-time-zone environment
  • English (intermediate+)

Bonus Points

  • Experience in video game design / development
  • Understanding of common terminology and technologies used in game development

This position is for up to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule and is remote. One of our products is an adult game, so applicants must be comfortable working around adult content and be of legal age to do so.

Salary:
$50,000 with some flexibility based on experience, ability, and preferred number of hours per week.

Benefits:

  • Extended medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Paid Time Off
