Job description
Position

The RIMOWA Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in increasing the overall performance of the store. The Assistant Store Manager must lead the team in generating sales through exceptional client relations and product knowledge while acting as an ambassador for the RIMOWA brand.

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Client Relations
  1. Lead the team in achieving personal and store sales goals
  2. Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor
  3. Provide feedback to Store Manager on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests
  4. Provide training for team in selling techniques and product knowledge
  5. Lead team by example, demonstrating the highest level of service for a luxury brand while cultivating new and existing clients
  6. Act as a brand ambassador of RIMOWA, play an active role in the community and seek outreach/networking opportunities

Team Management
  1. Coach the sales team on performance, provide professional development, and nurture corporate culture
  2. Motivate the sales team through the creation of a fun work environment
  3. Practice/implement RIMOWA clienteling practices to build each team member's business and overall store performance

Stock and Inventory Management
  1. Communicate with manager to ensure inventory meets the needs of the business
  2. Manage all repair processes in coordination with RIMOWA policy and procedures while providing exceptional customer service
  3. Conduct inventory counts, manage RTV’s and overall stock movement
  4. Ensure accurate and efficient receipt and transfer of all goods

Operations
  1. Maintain operation of all POS functions to ensure accurate store reporting and accounting
  2. Assist in weekly and monthly sales/marketing reports using Excel and Cegid.
  3. Manage any facilities issues as they arise while controlling operational costs

Visual Merchandising
  1. Merchandise the store and execute window displays in accordance with company directives for collections
  2. Maintain all display fixtures, lighting and marketing material

Profile
  1. Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Must possess at least 3 years’ experience in a retail environment
  3. Experience working in a luxury retail environment an asset
  4. Proven ability to drive sales from startup, execute events and work in concert with marketing
  5. It is preferred that the incumbent come with a strong existing network in the industry and/or community
  6. Required to lift boxes up to 20lbs repeatedly
  7. Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Compensation: $65K to 85K CAD
