Job description
Purpose:
The Brand Halo Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in managing a high-volume, strategically positioned Brand Halo store that represents the adidas brand and product in the most impactful way. The Back of House (BOH) Assistant Store Manager supports the BOH in the daily operations of the back of house and partners in the leadership of BOH team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing three team leaders, and a team of sales associates focusing on back of house operations.
Support the delivery of exceptional consumer experience tailored to the Brand Halo through ensuring outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards as it relates to the designated area of responsibility.
Support a best-in-class environment within retail fleet which provides acceptance, education, and awareness on all topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Positively communicates and demonstrates the Brand values, attitude, and culture.
Under the direction of the General Manager, manages and allocates resources effectively and efficiently to ensure store meets key performance indicators and profit and loss expectations.
Assist the General Manager in developing staff by providing performance feedback (performance and potential), seizing all coaching and training opportunities, and fostering a team environment to meet store and company objectives.
Assists in the training and execution within Back of House, including business and operations to ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards.
Perform timely completion of all Back of House recordkeeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, salary reviews, counselling, disciplinary actions, and employee separations.
Ensure accuracy of inventory and BRIM system.
Ensure that the BOH is organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
Provide feedback and solutions to the Store Manager, BOH to optimize capacity, increase efficiency, and to ensure accuracy of inventory.
Assure adherence to company policies and procedures relating to NSB (POS system) integrity.
Maintain confidentiality of retail operating information.
Assure compliance with legal and safety guidelines in overall management of store and associates.
Assist in ensuring the building and premises is safe, organized, and clean in accordance with adidas standards.
Develop seamless communication with other members of the Store Management Team.
Other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Proficient with MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer software (Internet, POS Systems, etc).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 12 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 34 kg.
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays. Also able to work extra hours during peak sales periods which include, but are not limited to, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Back-to-School.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of fashion retail management experience with a leading global brand.
Demonstrated leadership experience within the retail industry.
English fluent (speaking, reading, writing) and fluency in another language is highly desirable.
