Job description

We are an established holistic wellness center in the Flatiron District of New York City, and we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, committed part-time assistant operations manager with a focus on supporting and growing the business through maintaining its systems and procedures, overseeing all front desk functions, up-selling services, and providing support as needed to the business.

Duties will include:

  1. Light administrative duties.
  2. Scheduling.
  3. Liaison between staff, vendors, clients, and owner.
  4. Overseeing team.
  5. Ordering supplies.
  6. General oversight of the physical space.
  7. Work in close relationships with social media marketers.
  8. Must be computer savvy.
  9. Updating online communication boards.
  10. Proficiency with all the services provided.
  11. Communicating effectively & politely with staff and clientele.
  12. Cleaning & tidying.
  13. Keeping track of and ordering new inventory.

  1. Communicate professionally and effectively.
  2. Provide impeccable customer service.
  3. Must be able to offer the best possible experience for the clients and staff.
  4. Friendly, expeditious, courteous, supportive, and attentive to details.
  5. MUST be able to multitask.

This is a part-time position only. There will be no full-time opportunity.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
