Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Sales/Productivity Goals: Communicates goals for the team in partnership with the Store Manager and/or Associate Manager(s), tracks store's performance at all times and achieves sales through the team.
  2. Productivity Management: Holds sales team accountable for personal productivity.
  3. Ownership and Commitment: Takes ownership and commitment for delivering results; actively aware of personal and store metrics and achieves goals.
  4. Business Driving: Drives business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers.
  5. Clienteling Strategy: Develops a clienteling strategy in partnership with the Store Manager and Associate Manager(s); implements and monitors strategy over time to achieve business goals and objectives.
  6. Market Awareness: Understands changes in local market with potential impact on business performance and supports the execution of local sales strategies and tactics.
  7. Fashion Advisor: Builds credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor to both team and customers by communicating fashion awareness and trends in the marketplace.
  8. Professional Appearance: Creates positive impressions with store team and customers by bringing best self to work through elevated, sophisticated, appropriate business attire consistent with Coach's guide to style.
  9. Brand Ambassador: Acts as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive brand loyalty and business (i.e. charity events, local associations, mall initiatives).
  10. Coaching: Coaches team on how to incorporate trends into their selling experience with customers.
  11. Influencing Purchases: Influences customer's purchase decisions by balancing patience and assertiveness.
  12. Customer Sensitivity: Sensitive to customer and team's needs and tailors approach by reading cues.
  13. Problem Resolution: Resolves customer problems and meets customer needs in a timely manner through solution-oriented and forward-thinking approaches; partners with the Store Manager and/or District Manager when appropriate.
  14. Long-term Relationships: Encourages team to build long-term relationships with customers to drive business.
  15. Product Knowledge: Develops both self and individual product knowledge skills and remains aware of current collections.
  16. Business Needs: Works with the Store Manager and/or Associate Manager to protect and drive the needs of the business at all times.
  17. Staffing Impact: Understands the positive sales impact staffing has on the business; recruits accordingly.
  18. Team Development: Coaches, develops and motivates the team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to meet goals using Company tools.
  19. Daily Task Management: Ensures all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service of Coach standards.
