Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

1. Evaluate daily operations
2. Monitor staff performance
3. Plan and organize daily operations
4. Train staff
5. Organize and maintain inventory
6. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
7. Address customers' complaints or concerns
8. Provide customer service

Supervision: 3-4 people

1. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities

Support for newcomers and refugees:

1. Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.)
2. Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
3. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
4. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Support for youths:

1. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth

Support for Veterans:

1. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans
2. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans
3. Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Support for mature workers:

1. Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination

Supports for visible minorities:

1. Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.)
