Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager will oversee key aspects of our business operations, focusing on B2B projects, online sales, marketing, gift production, technology support, and web content management. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Assistant Manager will lead a diverse team, ensure smooth daily operations, and contribute to the company's growth by managing customer experience and driving sales initiatives. This role requires a hands-on approach to eCommerce management, team leadership, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day business functions, including B2B client projects, online and in-studio sales, and gift production workflows. Ensure all operational processes meet high-quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, setting clear job expectations and appraising performance. Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment that drives sales and delivers exceptional customer service.
  • B2B Project Management: Serve as the primary liaison for corporate clients, overseeing the planning and delivery of custom gifting projects. Ensure timelines and quality standards are met for all corporate orders.
  • Online Sales & Content Management: Oversee the eCommerce platform, ensuring product listings are up-to-date, accurate, and optimized for SEO. Collaborate with the team to develop and execute strategies to drive online sales. Monitor website content, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both online and in-store. Assist with creating content for social media, email newsletters, and other digital channels to engage customers and promote seasonal or special promotions.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise product inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked, organized, and ready for sales. Coordinate incoming stock deliveries and manage inventory systems to track and report on product availability.
  • Customer Service Support: Oversee the customer service team, ensuring timely and professional communication with clients and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Gift Production: Oversee gift-making processes, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Maintain high-quality control standards in product assembly and packaging.
  • Technology Support: Provide basic technical support for the company’s eCommerce platform, order management system, and other digital tools. Assist in troubleshooting any technology-related issues.
  • Sales Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present daily sales, inventory, and performance reports to upper management. Analyze data to identify trends, sales opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the CEO and other teams to brainstorm, design, and price new gift offerings. Ensure products align with the brand and are marketed effectively.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Experience in retail management, B2B project coordination, and eCommerce.
  • Proficiency in online sales platforms (Shopify preferred) and basic content management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment with attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience troubleshooting business challenges and issues.
  • Passion for luxury gifting and delivering high-end customer experiences.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a related field.
  • Experience in inventory management and product development.
  • Knowledge of SEO and online content management strategies.
  • Ability to lead team-building and training initiatives.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
