The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for an Assistant Manager of Technology Innovation and Data (TID) who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.

What you will do

• Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at the property.
• Managing and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks, including planning and design of the network infrastructure.
• Managing a busy support helpdesk including desktop restoration and repair and OS support.
• Provide Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation.
• Assist in system backup & recovery procedures.
• Assist in ensuring critical systems, specifically Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours a day.
• Assist in the management of third-party vendors.
• Assist in Server infrastructure management, performance monitoring, Operating System upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Assist in implementation of new technologies both staff and guest facing.
• Virus protection management and security patching.
• Maintain and promote Four Seasons core technology standards as outlined in the Four Seasons IT Core Standards.
• Shared on-call responsibilities to provide 24/7 support for mission critical systems.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned within the Technology Innovation and Data (TID) Department.

What you bring

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered an asset.
• Professional IT certifications in TCP/IP networking or Windows (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are desired but not essential.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service is considered an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada.

What we offer:

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Assistant TID Manager to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
