Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in managing daily operations of the store, including inventory management and merchandising.
  2. Support sales management by analyzing market trends and implementing effective strategies to increase sales.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  4. Train, mentor, and supervise team members to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
  5. Collaborate with the store manager to develop promotional strategies that drive foot traffic and boost sales.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  7. Monitor pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness within the market while maximizing profitability.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in retail management, lumber yard or construction is preferred.
  2. Strong sales management skills with a proven ability to sell products effectively.
  3. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
  4. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of employees.
  5. Knowledge of market trends and competitive pricing strategies is an advantage.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
