Job Summary
Assistant Head of Greens-keeper are the primary caretakers of the golf course and perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks range from the operation of light equipment to manual maintenance and construction tasks. Equipment operation includes everything
from running light utility vehicles, to mowing tees, greens, rough and fairways. Manual
tasks include digging, edging, weed control, raking, and general clean up.
Duties
- Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment for landscaping purposes
- Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed
- Assist in the construction of outdoor structures such as fences or walkways
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance and gardening
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to dig, build, and maintain outdoor structures
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
