Job Summary and Requirements:
This is a full-time permanent position working 75 hours biweekly. At Tourism and Culture, we are a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to the Yukon’s vibrant tourism, arts, museums, heritage, historic sites, and archival communities and their contributions to the Yukon’s quality of life. The Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Initiatives, provides critical support and advice to the Deputy Minister, plays a key leadership role in developing and implementing strategic directions for the Department of Tourism and Culture, is responsible for the leadership and direction of the department’s policy and communication functions, and collaborates with other departments on key government priorities.
