We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Artificial Intelligence Tech Lead to lead a team of 12 University Graduates with expertise in AI. The Advisor will guide the team in developing innovative AI solutions for tech startups, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems and drive business growth. Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Direct and mentor a team of 12 AI-specialized University Graduates, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration. Encourage knowledge-sharing sessions and facilitate regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards in development. Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Drive AI Innovation: Strategically plan and implement AI projects that advance the work of Genesis’ tech startup clients, with a focus on high-impact areas such as automated machine learning pipelines, deep learning for computer vision tasks, and reinforcement learning for decision-making systems. Employ advanced techniques in NLP and Generative AI to create models that can automatically generate content, understand sentiment, or drive conversational AI.
- Collaborate with Startups: Engage directly with Genesis’ tech startup clients to integrate AI solutions that optimize their operations, enhance product offerings, and provide significant market advantages. Tailor client solutions to fit unique business contexts and scale according to startup growth phases.
- Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously research and integrate emerging AI technologies and methodologies, such as quantum machine learning and bio-inspired algorithms, to keep AI Garage at the forefront of innovation. Evaluate and adopt new frameworks and libraries as they become available in the tech market.
- Build Robust AI Solutions: Oversee the design and development of scalable AI models and infrastructures using modern deployment technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure solutions are robust, secure, and compliant with data privacy standards.
- Measure Impact: Implement comprehensive metrics and monitoring systems to evaluate the performance and impact of AI solutions. Use data analytics to refine approaches and increase the ROI of technology deployments. Report to management on the impact to Genesis tech startup clients’ business outcomes.
- Foster Innovation: Champion a fail-fast mentality that encourages experimenting with new ideas and technologies, conducting A/B tests and pilot studies to iteratively improve processes and solutions.
- Cultivate Industry Relationships: Build strategic alliances with technology leaders, academic institutions, and industry consortia to enhance knowledge exchange and stay updated on industry regulations and innovations.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working with AI technologies in a startup environment is highly valued, especially with projects involving scalable system architecture, AI-driven product development, or real-time data processing.
- Technical Tools Expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard AI/ML tools and environments is crucial, including advanced skills in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn for machine learning development; expertise in using Apache Spark for big data processing; and familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications.
- Data Engineering Knowledge: Strong foundation in data engineering principles is essential, with hands-on experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Experience with RAG Solutions: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions, utilizing tools like ElasticSearch for data retrieval and transformer-based models for generating responses in conversational AI applications.
- Advanced Algorithm Development: Experience in developing complex algorithms tailored to solve specific business challenges, including optimization algorithms, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Cloud Platform Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly with regard to AI services and tools, machine learning pipelines, and cloud architecture best practices for security and scalability.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in AI, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams of AI professionals.
- Expertise in AI Technologies: Deep knowledge of NLP, Generative AI models (such as LLMs, GANs, VAEs), and other AI technologies.
- Cloud Platform Proficiency: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for building and deploying AI solutions at scale.
