Armed Driver, Cash Transport 1

We are currently hiring casual Armed Drivers, Cash Transport for our Montreal branch.

A $2,500 signing bonus is offered!

Your mission at GardaWorld:

As an Armed Driver, Cash Transport, you will be working in various roles such as Driver/Guard, Team Leader, and Vault Teller. You will be responsible for the management and safe transportation of valuables for our clients. We are looking for candidates who enjoy teamwork, challenges, and who are looking to be autonomous in their work.

1. Hourly wage between $22.05 and $27.89 depending on the assignment
2. Night shift bonus of $0.85 per hour

On a typical day you will:

1. Perform the pickup and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
2. Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
3. Follow established routes and schedules closely
4. Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
5. Load and unload the armored vehicle
6. Reload or perform minor repairs on ATMs from various financial institutions
7. Dispatch and organize packages in the vault
8. Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
9. Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld
10. Carry a firearm during the performance of your duties

Your profile:

1. Possess the restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (RPAL: Restricted Possession and Acquisition licence)
2. Own a valid driver's license for at least 2 years (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 3 demerit points
3. Capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
4. Available to work on call a minimum of 2 days a week for day, evening, nights, or weekend shifts with no minimum hours guaranteed
5. Comfortable in both French and English language
6. Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
7. Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
8. Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
9. Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines
10. Selected candidates will need to successfully complete an 8-day introduction course to fulfill the hiring process.
