Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Moving and storage company

Tasks:

1. Professionalism in customer service
2. Load and unload goods
3. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
4. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
5. Receive and relay information to central dispatch
6. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
7. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:

1. Class 1 / 1F / A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
2. Class 3 / 3F / DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
3. Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Type of Trucking and Equipment:

1. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)
2. Tractor-trailer
