Architectural Technologist - Millwork and Kitchen Design

This role is with a custom kitchen and cabinetry design company, specifically in the high-end custom home department. You will be dealing with luxury clients, designing and project managing the custom design and installation of kitchens, closets, millwork, and cabinetry.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with clients to understand their needs and wants for their custom home kitchen and cabinetry design plans.
2. Utilize company products, fixtures, and modules to develop custom layout and design plans.
3. Visit sites to measure and assess the space you will be working with; ensure quality during installation.
4. Work with AutoCAD daily to design and detail the project.
5. Create construction details for installation.
6. Apply knowledge of millwork and cabinetry installation to solve technical challenges and create designs within technical constraints.
7. Manage client interactions throughout the process, ensuring strong customer service.
8. Keep track of pricing and product quotes, managing accounting and invoicing for your projects.
9. Manage up to 25 individual projects in one year.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

1. Millwork experience is mandatory.
2. 3+ years of AutoCAD experience related to architectural design; must understand construction details, building code requirements, etc.
3. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and provide strong customer service.
4. Understanding of residential kitchen and home design.
5. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

MUST HAVE A VALID ONTARIO DRIVER'S LICENSE (Company vehicles are provided for site visits).
