Architectural PM - Regional Manager - Practice Lead

Architecture & Design Firm - HYBRID
$120-140k + excellent benefits + bonus

About role and the client

An expanding Revit-based architectural firm with multiple offices seeks an accomplished architectural professional - Regional Lead - to run a small office in either the Timmins, North Bay or Temiskaming Shores area. You must live within 160 kilometers of one of these locations and have 10+ years of OBC and building science design experience with well-established architectural firms. With the support of their other offices, you will be involved in a wide variety of small to moderately sized projects; $5M-120M in valuation; including community centers, schools, labs & R&D centers, nursing and LTC homes, and rehab centers. Their culture is laid back: blue jeans; meritocratic; where collaboration and synergy among teams and offices is encouraged. They seek someone passionate about community-based projects. The firm believes in solid initial planning with other senior leaders; that work-life balance and avoiding burn-out enhances creative designs.

What they are looking for

  1. Bachelor or Master of Architecture credentials; experienced leader of structured teams; 5-10 years as a Project Architect on sophisticated projects; or a Senior Revit Technologist with PM and Job Captain experience.
  2. A Revit portfolio demonstrating design excellence and mark-ups of others' works.
  3. A fair-minded leader that respects diversity, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and works well with others.
  4. Strong Revit skills and OBC knowledge; experience across SD, DD, WD phases & construction administration (CA) duties.
  5. Superior communication skills; ability to deal with multiple competing stakeholders and to pitch clients; BD skills a big plus.
  6. Someone committed to their ongoing professional development; long-term vision with a desire to potentially work towards equity stakes in the firm.
  7. Strong Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and project management software skills.

What's in it for you

• Work for a well-run firm where IT, HR, marketing, and admin functions are already handled so you can focus on design excellence and developing the firm’s culture.
• Excellent total package; great projects and people.
• Senior Leadership role with a firm well positioned for continued future growth.
