Are you a detail-oriented Architect with a passion for turning design concepts into high-quality construction documents? Our client is a national award-winning multi-discipline firm with a terrific opportunity.

Our client requires a Senior Architect to oversee and coordinate Healthcare Projects. You’ll collaborate with design teams to develop technical details, select materials, and ensure compliance with codes and construction technologies. Your ability to integrate technical and aesthetic requirements will help bring architectural visions to life. Your analytical skills will enable you to interpret design intent, resulting in efficient and effective technical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop technical designs and edit architectural drawings to meet quality, timeline, and budget goals.
2. Conduct programming, code research, material selection, and system integration.
3. Perform site evaluations and surveys to inform design decisions.
4. Review project documents, including shop drawings and permit applications.
5. Coordinate revisions with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve constructability challenges and owner concerns.

What You Bring:

1. Expertise across all project phases, from concept to construction.
2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural design software.
3. Strong knowledge of MEP and Structural systems, building codes, and construction methods.
4. Post-secondary education in Architecture or a related field.
5. Registration with a professional architectural association (an asset).

Experience:

1. 10+ years of architectural project experience.
2. Healthcare project experience is a plus.
