Explore your next role:
We are looking for a qualified individual to join the team as a Technician, Heavy Maintenance. As a key member of the Heavy Maintenance team, the Technician will report to the Project Supervisor and will be responsible for performing aircraft inspections, troubleshooting defects, and carrying out rectifications in accordance with OEM manuals to the highest standard of airworthiness on CRJ 100, 200, 900 and Dash 8 100, 200, 300, Q400 aircraft.

• Diagnose electrical malfunctions as per technical manuals.
• Maintain aircraft systems, including airframe and avionics equipment.
• Assemble, modify, and repair various aircraft components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft systems and adjust/repair systems according to specifications.
• Perform and document scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company policies.
• Observe safety practices and comply with regulatory requirements.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

• College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved institution.
• Related work experience in an aviation environment is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location and other Key Details:

• You will work out of our North Bay head office.
• Regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
