NT Air Inc. is a specialized medivac operation requiring a devoted staff to maintain aircraft that provide an essential service contracted to the province of BC. NT Air maintenance staff also work as a team with its parent company Central Mountain Air at the Prince George International Airport, providing support for passenger service aircraft on a daily basis. This position is located at our base office in Prince George, BC. The maintenance side of our operation is a fast-paced environment where safety is the priority, and a high level of professionalism is always expected. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, manage their time effectively, and always be focused on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks as assigned by the Lead Hand
  • Completion of paperwork – completely and accurately.
  • Assisting with the general maintenance and servicing of hangar equipment and facilities
  • Towing of aircraft, operating ground equipment
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Work in a shop environment with full range of movement (flexibility) required, Extended periods of standing, crouching and kneeling in an aircraft.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, meeting constraining deadlines
  • Repetitive tasks, both indoors and outdoors
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Aircraft Maintenance schooling/diploma completed
  • Ability to legally work in Canada
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Good problem solving and time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate and be based out of Prince George, BC.

Job Type: Full-time
