Applications Engineer / Ingénieur d'applications

We're looking for a GPS/GNSS Application Engineer to join our growing team in Canada - Montreal!

We provide virtually fail-safe GNSS and PNT solutions for military and commercial applications worldwide. AKA- we do pretty critical and important things!

The Position: GNSS Application Engineer.

Member of Test and Simulation Team - Designs and develops solutions for GNSS simulation systems in assigned markets and assigned products by leveraging current portfolio.
Uses his deep knowledge of products and his understanding of customer applications in order to provide technical and application support primarily in pre-sales but also in post-sales situations.

The Day to Day:

1. Provide technical expertise and solutions to customer requirements, hand in hand with Sales team.
2. Provide on-site or remotely technical expertise and demonstrations, upon sales request.
3. Experiment with new architectures, prototyping systems for POC process or for highlighting feasibility.
4. Work closely with engineering and Product management and Marketing teams building technical contents.
5. Transfer skills and technical knowledge to support teams and partners.
6. Support the Product Manager executing the product plan, acting as the voice-of-the-customer.

Skills & Requirements:

1. Technical knowledge in Radio Frequency - Positioning, Navigation and Timing.
2. System oriented mixing Hardware and Software technologies.
3. Writing in Python / C++ is a plus.
4. Autonomous in Presentation and Proficient in Document writing and structuring.
5. Familiar with Business Industry and Business domain.

Travel specificity:
Ability to travel up to 50% with teleworking possibility
• Canada, USA, South America
• Sometimes Asia or EU.

Experience in other relevant business sector: GNSS technologies (embedded systems, GNSS receivers, Automotive, Drones systems, RF systems).
