Application Systems Trainer (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote).
Office Locations:
- Burlington location @ 3215 North Service Road, Burlington, ON, L7N 3G2 (near hwy. 403 QEW and Guelph Line)
- Starting April 2025, Burlington location will be relocated to our Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)
Summary:
Lifemark Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Systems Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, business Subject Matter Experts (SME), and end-users to develop and deliver training programs for various applications used across Lifemark’s daily operations.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills in English (required) and French (an asset), a passion for content creation, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to learn various proprietary applications.
Your Key Accountabilities:
- Create and adapt source training materials for e-learning delivery using a Learning Management System (LMS) platform (Cornerstone Learn an asset)
- Collaborate with SMEs to plan, develop, and source new training and development programs according to the organization's needs
- Manage the roll-out of approved training and development programs, including the design and implementation of online training
- Design interactive, engaging and effective instructional materials to be used in a web-based format
- Efficiently convert complex information into comprehensive e-learning training modules
- Assist in the implementation and adoption of new technologies by providing training and support to end-users
- Work closely with Business Systems Analyst’s (BSA) to develop and implement test plans to verify functionality and operational processes
- Work closely with Product Manager to ensure effective planning for training and scheduled release needs
- Provide administration support for the learning management system, such as account setup, uploading modules, testing/QA and create learning campaigns in coordination with Coaches
- Ensure the employee experience meets the training goals, collect feedback for ongoing improvement and assess the impact of learning by developing evaluation strategies.
Your Tech Skills & Qualifications:
- Post-secondary in graphic marketing, communication, business, human resources, or adult education
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone Learn
- Experience working in e-Learning design and technology, particularly Articulate Storyline 360 software or similar program
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in training, including sound knowledge of adult learning principles, creating accessible content, instructional design, facilitation and methods of evaluation, script development and recording. Healthcare experience is an asset
- Experience running live webinars, particularly with Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Advanced level of computer competency and proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Your Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required) and French (an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and lead virtual communication
- Experience managing multiple training projects from start to finish, managing priorities, engaging SMEs and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to self-direct, maintain high levels of organization, and possess a keen eye for detail
- Well-developed interpersonal skills as a professional and an enthusiastic team player
