The salary range above represents the low and high end in the local currency of Xerox’s salary range for this position and is reflected in an annualized amount. Description & Requirements

Our Xerox Canada team is adding an Application Support and Integration Engineer to our team in Montreal, Quebec to support our core engineering group for Document Imaging Solutions.

Overview:

Be able to support a wide range of technical platforms, approaches and processes within Document management, digitization and B2B/B2C solutions: Analyze and document highly complex technical solutions to meet the needs of an assigned project.

  • Software and configuration deployment
  • System Support: Support production environment (including all existing extensions, interfaces, modifications and reports), analyze urgent problems that occur and conduct root cause analysis. Be able to occasionally work out-of-office hours for urgent support needs.
  • Able to handle Incident, problem management and driving root cause analysis.
  • Provide technical and functional knowledge, guidance and support to other Systems Analysts and application support.

General Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bi-lingual in French and English.
  • Computer Science University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Be able to raise applicable, relevant technical and process questions on situations that do not have any indicators for direct answers. We need a person with capability to raise questions that could result in process improvement.
  • Progressive experience and expertise that demonstrates mastery in knowledge and capability to apply this knowledge, which typically comes with up to 5 years hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; manage client expectations well and be able to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Be able to drive internal and/or client meetings.
  • Able to create and present solutions.
  • Able to work independently and have mentoring/leading skills.
  • Able to learn new technology and solution methodology efficiently.

In-depth hands-on experience with the current versions of SQL, PL/SQL, .Net, C#, OCR/ICR imaging technology, imaging and workflow technology, HTML, Python, ETL and/or RPA technology.

In-depth knowledge of data architecture, data modeling and information system development methodologies.

Experience with cloud infrastructure.

Working knowledge with middleware-based cloud integration technology.
