Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our team. This full-time role is key to supporting our sales and production departments by generating customized technical drawings based on customer specifications, internal design guidelines, and regional/international safety codes.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, highly detail-focused, and skilled in CAD tools like AutoCAD and Inventor. If you're looking to apply your mechanical design experience in a meaningful and growing industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential Duties And Requirements
  • Review incoming order packages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate concept and approval drawings for dealers based on order specifications.
  • Create revisions and finalize production drawings for lift installations.
  • Produce custom product design drawings based on customer and site requirements.
  • Support sales teams, distributors, architects, and contractors with product and code-related information.
  • Collaborate occasionally with R&D for product improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain all drawing records in alignment with internal engineering standards and documentation protocols.
  • Participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Mindset, Skills & Education
  • Energetic, eager, tenacious!
  • Diploma in Computer-Aided Drafting, Mechanical Design Technology, or a related field; a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering is an asset.
  • Experience using AutoCAD 2012 or newer (mandatory).
  • Experience with Inventor 2012 or newer (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as LISP, VB.NET, or similar is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for precision – accuracy is everything.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team or independently on assigned projects.
  • A proactive, energetic mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
