Overview:
We are working with one of Canada’s Top Employers and we are seeking an IT Application Analyst with experience in the Transportation/Logistics/Warehousing space. You will play a key role in supporting and administering our client’s transportation applications. This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, project coordination, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal initiatives.

What you will be doing:

Application Support

• Log, prioritize, and resolve support issues using a ticketing system.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
• Work with IT teams and vendors to maintain system performance.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.

Project & Change Management

• Define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.
• Analyze system needs, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate IT deliverables, manage scope changes, and oversee implementations.

System Expertise & Training

• Act as SME for transportation applications, staying updated on enhancements.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Configure applications, manage testing, and document processes.
• Train users and mentor junior staff.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with internal teams, leadership, and vendors.
• Tailor communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure timely resolution of system issues with vendors and internal teams.

What you must have:

• 5+ years in Application Support, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems & Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
• Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have:

• Lean Six Sigma, logistics, or IT certifications.
• Experience with Wrike, ManageEngine, SQL, BI tools (Power BI).
• Release management, Scrum, or process improvement experience.

Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 – $90,000
