Overview: We are working with one of Canada’s Top Employers and we are seeking an IT Application Analyst with experience in the Transportation/Logistics/Warehousing space. You will play a key role in supporting and administering our client’s transportation applications. This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, project coordination, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Application Support
Log, prioritize, and resolve support issues using a ticketing system.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
Work with IT teams and vendors to maintain system performance.
Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
Project & Change Management
Define project scope, requirements, and success criteria.
Analyze system needs, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
Coordinate IT deliverables, manage scope changes, and oversee implementations.
System Expertise & Training
Act as SME for transportation applications, staying updated on enhancements.
Translate business needs into technical requirements.
Configure applications, manage testing, and document processes.
Train users and mentor junior staff.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with internal teams, leadership, and vendors.
Tailor communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure timely resolution of system issues with vendors and internal teams.
What you must have:
5+ years in Application Support, Business Analysis, or related roles.
Experience with Transportation Management Systems & Supply Chain.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and system integrations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have:
Lean Six Sigma, logistics, or IT certifications.
Experience with Wrike, ManageEngine, SQL, BI tools (Power BI).
Release management, Scrum, or process improvement experience.
Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 – $90,000
