Apparel Sales Manager (Contract)

SOLAMODA Group is looking for a Sales Manager – Outdoor Apparel to drive the growth of our business in Canada and the United States as an independent contractor. Responsibilities :

1. Develop and expand brand partnerships for outdoor sports apparel in Canada and the U.S.
2. Identify sales opportunities and negotiate contracts to achieve business goals
3. Provide expert recommendations on product selection, materials, and design
4. Monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and anticipate customer needs
5. Collaborate with SOLAMODA’s global sales team for technical support, production, and quality assurance
6. Travel across North America to meet clients, attend trade shows, and industry events

Requirements :

Education & Industry Knowledge :

1. Degree in marketing, business administration, textile engineering, sports management, or a related field
2. Solid understanding of materials, production, and fashion trends in the outdoor apparel sector

Experience & Sales Expertise :

1. 5 to 10 years of experience in outdoor apparel, sportswear, or similar sectors
2. Proven B2B sales experience with a successful track record in closing deals
3. Established network of brand clients or key contacts in the industry

Skills & Abilities :

1. Languages : Fluency in English is required to communicate with clients outside of Quebec. Fluency in French is a strong asset.
2. Strong market research, data analysis, and strategic planning skills
3. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital sales tools

Additional Requirements :

1. Valid authorization to work in Canada required
2. Availability to travel within Canada and the U.S. for client meetings and trade shows
3. Established industry network in Canada and the USA (a strong asset)
4. Valid driver’s license for business travel
5. A reliable laptop and a stable high-speed internet connection to support remote work.

Compensation :

Base salary (Negotiable, up to $100,000 CAD / year) + uncapped commission
