Anodizing Line Operator

Job Title: Line Operator (Metal Surfacing)

Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hour to start

Location: Burlington, Ontario - North Service Rd and Sutton Drive

We are hiring a Line Operator for a company in Burlington that specializes in hardcoat anodizing of various metal parts, including auto parts. This is a long-term opportunity with a fast-paced facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment lifting 50+ lbs often.

Job Description:

1. Follow work order to correctly run parameters to reach desired finish of coating
2. Monitor all coating and finishing tanks to ensure proper solution levels
3. Ensure all rinse tanks are clean and overflowing
4. Load and unload fixture/wash baskets
5. Ensure any water on the floor area of the line is promptly removed
6. Complete quality assurance inspections
7. Lifting 50-60 lbs consistently throughout your shift
8. Other labour tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

1. 2-3 years of long-term experience in a similar manufacturing/automotive line operating role
2. Comfortable lifting 50-60 lbs repetitively
3. CSA Safety Shoes Required
4. Candidate must have own vehicle or reliable transportation as this facility is not transit accessible after 7pm
