Relevant du Chef, Comptabilité et Contrôle, l'analyste comptable sera un membre clé de l'équipe des Finances au sein de la Gestion des Bannières au détail. Il/Elle sera responsable des activités de facturation, de l'examen des transactions du grand livre, des rapprochements, la production de diverses analyses et vérifications. Le titulaire s'assurera également du respect des politiques corporatives et comptables (SOX).

Responsabilités spécifiques

• Agir à titre de partenaire d'affaires et de conseiller financier pour les divers départements.
• Prendre en charge la gestion des ententes avec les fournisseurs, s'assurer de leur conformité et veiller à leur bonne exécution.
• Effectuer des rapprochements détaillés, y compris l'analyse des données obtenues du client, du fournisseur et du système de facturation.
• Préparer et vérifier les factures pour garantir leur exactitude.
• Réaliser des analyses à valeur ajoutée et fournir un support décisionnel.
• Fournir un soutien proactif et des analyses financières aux différentes unités.
• Contribuer à l'avancement de projets spéciaux tels que les améliorations SAP, la mise en œuvre de Power BI, ainsi que d'autres projets d'amélioration des processus.
• Travailler avec les auditeurs internes sur la conformité SOX en leur fournissant les analyses et rapprochements requis.
• Transmettre des informations et traiter les demandes des parties prenantes internes.

• Baccalauréat en Finance ou en Comptabilité, possédant un titre comptable CPA, un atout.
• Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en tant que Technicien Comptable ou dans un rôle similaire.
• Capacité à gérer des délais serrés et à établir des priorités dans un environnement en constante évolution.
• Solides compétences en communication verbale et écrite, en anglais et en français.
• Capacités analytiques développées, capacité à comprendre l'information opérationnelle reçue.
• Esprit d'équipe, facilité à établir et bâtir des liens avec différents intervenants.
• Très compétent en MS Excel. Un expert en la matière avec SAP COPA ou un autre ERP serait considéré comme un atout.
• Bilingue Français/Anglais (écrit et oral).

Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l'extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l'anglais à l'écrit et à l'oral.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting and Control, the Staff Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team within Retail Banner Management. He/She will be responsible for billing activities, reviewing general ledger transactions, reconciliations, producing various analyses, and verifications. The incumbent will also ensure compliance with corporate and accounting policies (SOX).

Specific responsibilities

• Act as a business partner and financial advisor for various departments.
• Manage supplier agreements, ensure their compliance, and oversee their proper execution.
• Perform detailed reconciliations, including analyzing data obtained from clients, suppliers, and the billing system.
• Prepare and verify invoices to ensure their accuracy.
• Conduct value-added analyses and provide decision-making support.
• Provide proactive support and financial analyses to different units.
• Contribute to the advancement of special projects such as SAP improvements, Power BI implementation, and other process improvement projects.
• Work with internal auditors on SOX compliance by providing required analyses and reconciliations.
• Communicate information and handle requests from internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation considered an asset.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and set priorities in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
• Developed analytical skills, ability to understand operational information received.
• Team player, able to establish and build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Excel. Expertise with SAP or another ERP would be considered an asset.
• Bilingual French/English (written and spoken).

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $56,300 - $93,800
