Compensation beyond the mid-point requires approval by the Public Sector Employers Council Secretariat (PSEC).

The Analyst, HRIS Systems is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting UFV's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role involves analyzing system performance, identifying enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. The Analyst, HRIS Systems acts as a liaison between HR, IT, and various university departments to support data integrity, system functionality, and reporting needs.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Minimum three to five (3-5) years’ experience in HRIS administration, systems analysis, or similar roles.
  3. Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Banner, Workday, SAP) preferred.
  4. Experience with Student Information Systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) preferred.
  5. Experience with integrating HR systems and enterprise survey tools with ERP preferred.
  6. Experience with employee performance evaluation systems and tools.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise between technical teams and non-technical HR staff.
  9. Understanding of HR practices, policies, and data security protocols.
  10. Project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  11. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  12. Ability to work collaboratively and foster a team-oriented environment.
  13. Create and implement plans - shape, align and execute the strategic priorities to meet student and community needs.
  14. Lead change – Remain flexible, adjusting to changing circumstances and lead positive change by balancing innovation and calculated risk taking.
  15. Cultivate collaborative relationships – Build effective working relationships internally and externally and collaborate to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
  16. Inspire and develop talent - Invest in developing yourself, staff and faculty, effective teams, and our culture of excellence.
  17. Make effective decisions - Make sound and timely decisions that benefit UFV in both straightforward and ambiguous circumstances.
