Bell Technical Solutions is looking to add a Cybersecurity Analyst to the Information Security Team. This team member will be heavily focused on the operational implementation of Information Security & Compliance for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating and prioritizing security issues, detecting and remediating.
- Assessing company applications using automated and manual security tools.
- Using enterprise vulnerability management tools to identify high-risk systems.
- Communicating risk and collaborating with system owners and other teams to address security vulnerabilities, incident response, XDR response, SIEM & additional security tools response.
- Enhancing response capabilities for security vulnerabilities and incidents through tool building, scripting, and training.
Critical Qualifications
- Actively involved in security monitoring for the environment, investigating and responding to threats.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and assess security threats to IT infrastructure, build plans, and remediate.
- Assist in managing and coordinating responses to security incidents.
- Monitor networks for suspicious activity and threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and work with a third party to conduct penetration testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Information Security.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Additional certifications in security-related disciplines (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.) are preferred.
- Experience in systems administration of Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
- Must have IT technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for cybersecurity and information technology.
