Bell Technical Solutions is looking to add a Cybersecurity Analyst to the Information Security Team. This team member will be heavily focused on the operational implementation of Information Security & Compliance for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating and prioritizing security issues, detecting and remediating.
• Assessing company applications using automated and manual security tools.
• Using enterprise vulnerability management tools to identify high-risk systems.
• Communicating risk and collaborating with system owners and other teams to address security vulnerabilities, incident response, XDR response, SIEM & additional security tools response.
• Enhancing response capabilities for security vulnerabilities and incidents through tool building, scripting, and training.

Critical Qualifications

• Actively involved in security monitoring for the environment, investigating and responding to threats.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and assess security threats to IT infrastructure, build plans, and remediate.
• Assist in managing and coordinating responses to security incidents.
• Monitor networks for suspicious activity and threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and work with a third party to conduct penetration testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience in Information Security.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Additional certifications in security-related disciplines (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.) are preferred.
• Experience in systems administration of Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
• Must have IT technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for cybersecurity and information technology.
