Analyst/ Associate

The Opportunity

Davis Pier is seeking a full-time Analyst or Associate to join our consulting firm in Halifax, NS. The successful candidate will manage and deliver exceptional client services necessary to design, plan, and implement lasting change and improvement in complex public sector environments.

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Help foster client relationships within project environments
3. Assist in developing high quality project deliverables
4. Using user experience and user-design methodologies to inform project approaches
5. Facilitate client workshops and interviews
6. Employ innovative new methods and approaches to uncover rich citizen insights
7. Use insights to develop strategic approaches to public sector transformation
8. Seamlessly integrate with client teams
9. Assist in developing tailored approaches to project delivery to ensure engagement outcomes are delivered in a non-disruptive manner
10. Help with the creation of, or change to, business process, digital products and content across both digital and offline channels
11. Assist in helping clients design and implement technology changes as part of an overall business transformation
12. Able to listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders to document needs and requirements
13. Document how clients would use technology systems, data and processes

Qualifications

1. Candidates should meet the following criteria:
2. Formal education in business, public administration, engineering, information technology, social sciences or service design
3. Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
4. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Knowledge and experience of how to use technology as a business enabler
6. Is responsive to changes in technology and can adapt their approach accordingly
7. Previous experience in project settings in a professional services environment is an asset
8. Previous consulting experience would be considered an asset
9. Knowledge of the public sector, the social sector, or healthcare would be considered an asset
10. Experience designing and implementing digital change would be considered an asset
11. Experience in using service design methodologies
