Analyst, Advisory Services

We are currently looking for an Analyst to join our Advisory Services team in Montreal.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gathering financial information;
• Performing detailed analyses of financial statements and other financial reports;
• Executing financial due diligence mandates which include the preparation of data books, assessing the quality of earnings and working capital requirements;
• Assisting senior team members in the preparation of reports;
• Preparing, maintaining and updating financial models and financial projections;
• Keeping senior team members informed, on an ongoing basis, of progress and significant issues.

What you need to succeed:

• Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or CBV) is preferred;
• 3+ years of public accounting experience;
• Experience in due diligence is an asset;
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis;
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and other tools of the MS suite;
• Ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong time management skills and ability to cope with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
