WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Manage daily banking activities, including cash transactions, bank transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Monitor and update bank account records, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly, and sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers and ACH payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in cash flow management by forecasting daily, weekly, and monthly cash needs, and monitor liquidity positions to ensure funds are available to meet business operations.
- Perform daily, weekly, or monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded in the company’s financial system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records, ensuring all differences are promptly addressed.
- Reconcile cash accounts and prepare reports to track bank balances and cash movements, ensuring consistency between internal records and external statements.
- Provide detailed cash position reports, including bank balances and cash flow forecasts, to senior management for financial planning and decision-making.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation summaries, identifying any variances and providing explanations for discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to cash management and banking activities.
- Ensure compliance and support efforts to maintain strong internal controls and banking procedures in all day-to-day banking and treasury functions, maintaining the security and confidentiality of financial data.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting the reconciliation process.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy, recommend improvements, and automation tools/software to streamline banking, treasury, reconciliation processes, and improve cash management.
- Liaise with banks for day-to-day banking inquiries, service issues, account management, and coordination of new banking services or accounts when required.
