About the role

As an Amazon Content Specialist at Earth Rated, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing high-quality content across our Amazon marketplace to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and ensure brand consistency. A/B testing and continuous content optimization will be critical to the success of this role, ensuring Earth Rated stays ahead of the competition. You will take the lead in briefing the creative lead for all eCommerce content and advertising needs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, eCommerce, and Data & Insights. Additionally, this role will support content initiatives for other retailers such as Chewy. Staying ahead of trends, monitoring performance, and implementing optimizations will be key to ensuring Earth Rated remains a leader in the pet care space.

Content Strategy & Optimization:
  • Develop and execute an Amazon content strategy that aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Optimize product listings (titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ content) for maximum conversion and search visibility (SEO).
  • Manage and update the Amazon Storefront and Brand Story to enhance brand experience, engagement, and drive sales and AOV.
  • Work closely with designers to develop compelling imagery and infographics that drive conversion.
  • Ensure all content meets Amazon compliance guidelines and Earth Rated’s brand standards.
  • Lead the creative briefing process for all eCommerce content and advertising needs, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and brand messaging across all eCommerce Channels including Chewy, Zooplus, Walmart, Petsmart and Petco.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
  • Monitor and own key performance metrics such as conversion rate, click-through rate (CTR), and organic ranking to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize Amazon tools (Brand Analytics, A/B Testing, Helium 10, etc.) to analyze content performance and implement data-driven optimizations.
  • A/B testing is a crucial part of this role—continuously test and refine content to improve conversion rates and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to understand market trends and optimize content accordingly to deliver data driven inspiration to our creative team in order to increase efficiency.
Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Partner with eCommerce, brand, and design teams to execute content updates and product launches.
  • Manage content calendars to ensure timely updates and seasonal promotions.
  • Work with legal to ensure all content adheres to Amazon’s regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation where applicable.
  • Support content initiatives for other retailers such as Chewy.
Amazon Best Practices & Innovation:
  • Stay up to date with Amazon content trends, policies, and algorithm updates.
  • Experiment with new content formats, A+ enhancements, and video to drive engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to test and implement emerging best practices to maximize content effectiveness.
Our ideal candidate has
  • 2+ years of experience in optimizing Amazon content to enhance visibility and conversion.
  • Expertise in A/B testing, continuously experimenting, analyzing, and refining content to enhance performance.
  • A data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to optimize content and improve conversion rates and customer experience.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working seamlessly with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and efficiency.
  • A proactive approach to staying ahead of evolving Amazon trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
