Purpose Of Position

Reporting to the Manager, Payload, the Aircraft Weight and Balance Agent (Load Planner) will be responsible for providing placement of passengers, baggage and cargo on the aircraft for the purpose of weight and balance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Aircraft load planning.
2. Calculation of aircraft weight and balance.
3. Managing the company table priority of load.
4. Planning dangerous goods.
5. Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
6. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Familiarity with personal computers.
2. Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Previous aviation experience considered an asset.
5. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
6. Basic math skills required.
7. Clear and concise verbal communication.
8. Effective and confident delivery of information.
