As an Aircraft Technician under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, you will report to the AME Lead for performance of work, in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Assuming responsibility for work as indicated by your signature/stamp authority.
• Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
• Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered.
• Marshalling, fueling and towing aircraft.
• Supporting aircraft operations with GSE: operating, refueling, moving and troubleshooting GSE (if required).
• Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.
• Familiarization with the MPM/ MCD and related processes.
• Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
• Maintaining a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited post-secondary institution in aircraft maintenance repair or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an equivalent aircraft maintenance role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Possess a Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to obtain and maintain an Ottawa International Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Able to obtain and maintain an Ottawa International Airport Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
