AME's - Mechanics/Structures/Avionics (Contract)

Job Description

We are seeking Mechanics, Structures or Avionic Technicians to assist with the heavy maintenance of Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft. The primary focus will be on performing C Checks, with additional duties in Line Maintenance in Calgary and Edmonton. Candidates must be flexible and open to working in various capacities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance checks (C Checks) on Q400, 737NG MAX, and SAAB aircraft
  • Conduct line maintenance tasks as required in Calgary and Edmonton
  • Carry out aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used

Requirements

  • Must have minimum 5 years of heavy maintenance Canadian work experience
  • Mechanic, Structural or Avionics Technician does not require Transport Canada License
  • Proficiency in heavy and line maintenance
  • Ability to perform C Checks
  • Valid RAIC pass or previously held a RAIC pass from any Canadian airport across Canada

Work Environment

The work will be conducted in a hangar, focusing on heavy maintenance checks alongside a team of other AMEs. Shifts are 12 hours on the day shift, with flexibility to work as much as possible, including the option to work 6 days a week. Line maintenance facilities operate 24-hour shifts, requiring flexibility from employees. The dress code is appropriate for a maintenance hangar environment.
