Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Maintenance - Rotational

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with our Maintenance team in Montreal, QC to join our growing crew of aviation professionals dedicated to high-quality maintenance operations on a temporary rotational basis.

Our Operations:

PAL Airlines Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada’s largest fast-growing regional carrier and our new Air Canada Express operations. Our operations are a fast-paced, dynamic operation that includes all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. This includes layover checks up to A-checks, engine changes, and propeller replacements. Our team currently maintains DHC-8 aircraft.

Rotation Shifts:

Rotations will be on a 2 weeks on – 2 weeks off basis, working 12-hour shifts. Terms would last between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Completed Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course with a valid M1/M2 Aircraft Maintenance License
2. Dash 8-300 and/or Dash 8 Q400 endorsement
3. Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset
4. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
5. Troubleshooting skills
6. Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization, and communication skills
7. Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
8. Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
9. Type Course Certification is considered an asset

The standard we strive for is that Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at PAL are Type-Certified on Company Aircraft. For all qualified employees who are not already Type Course Certified, we will arrange training and cover all expenses to get you certified!
