Job description

Purpose of Position: To maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities: You will:

  1. Carry out maintenance duties on Jazz aircraft;
  2. Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft;
  3. Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company and Transport Canada regulations;
  4. Perform duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, the safety of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program.
  2. Must have received Transport Canada Accreditation.
  3. Must hold a valid Canadian issued driver’s license with no restrictions and/or conditions.
  4. Legally able to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or on a Valid Work Permit).
  5. Ability to carry on normal business in English.

Wages: The positions in our Maintenance Department are unionized positions. Current pay scales are outlined in our collective agreement. Pay scales are competitive and progress every 6 months to 1 year. AMEs qualify for a Technical Premium which is paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.
