Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – M1 & M2

Leggat Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to specialize in turbo prop and jet aircraft.

Operating out of the Oshawa Executive Airport, Leggat Aviation is an Authorized Cessna and Beechcraft Service Facility working with Cessna Single Engine, multi-engine, Caravans, as well as Beechcraft Bonanza and Baron. Leggat Aviation has been in the Aviation industry for over 75 years. We specialize in providing quality service to our customers.

In this position, the AME will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager (and/or Maintenance Coordinator).

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Must possess Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 License
2. Must be able to read, understand and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical drawings, and blueprints
3. Experience performing a large variety of tasks relating to any aspects of aircraft maintenance and can think on his/her feet
4. Ability to work well individually as well as with others
5. Good verbal and written communication skills
6. Basic computer skills
7. Must be legally able to work in Canada
8. Must be proficient at file management
