Stampede Aviation Inc., in collaboration with the Timmermans Legends of Flight collection, is excited to announce key full-time positions for passionate individuals to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious collections of warbirds in aviation history. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) (Full-time)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: CYCK Timmermans Legends of Flight, New Purpose-Built Maintenance Facility (Opening Fall 2025)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and inspections on the Timmermans Legends of Flight collection, including warbirds such as the Mustang, Zero, SeaFury, Corsair, Spitfire, ME109, and Harvard.
• Maintain and repair various aircraft engines, including R2800, R1830, R1340, Merlin, Griffon, and DB605 engines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintenance standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues on aircraft and components.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and ensure accurate documentation.
• Work closely with the Director of Maintenance and team members to preserve the airworthiness and historical significance of the aircraft.

Requirements:

• Valid AME license (Canada) or equivalent A&P certification (USA).
• Hands-on experience with R2800, R1830, R1340, Merlin, Griffon, and DB605 engines.
• Experience working on historic warbirds such as the Mustang, Zero, Fury, Corsair, Spitfire, Gustav, and Harvard is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to long-term involvement with the Timmermans Legends of Flight team and new maintenance facility.
