Join our team in Campbell River, British Columbia, and embark on an exciting journey as a Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME). You'll play a vital role in maintaining the Hawker 800XP ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety and performance. But that's just the beginning – you'll have the opportunity to grow your career at Chartright.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the go-to AME for the Hawker 800XP at Campbell River airport, ensuring its maintenance is conducted in full compliance with company policies, Transport Canada regulations, and industry standards.
  • Take charge of dismantling and reassembling aircraft systems for repair and overhaul, troubleshooting defects, and executing corrective actions to keep our aircraft flying safely.
  • Conduct periodic and heavy inspections, maintaining meticulous records to uphold our commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a high standard of workmanship, utilizing approved equipment and materials to deliver top-quality results.

What You Bring:

  • A valid Canadian AME M2 license and a minimum of five years' experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Hawker 800XP maintenance certification would be a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical proficiency, enabling you to interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins with ease.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, combined with a dedication to professionalism and excellence.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Flexibility to accommodate aircraft schedules and occasional travel requirements, including extended trips and out-of-base AOG situations.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including climbing, walking, standing, and lifting.
