Architecture49 is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Construction Contract Administrator to join our Halifax team.

Atlantic Canada

The philosophy of our design team in Atlantic Canada is rooted in the rich social and cultural mosaic of the east coast. Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and travel to conduct site visits throughout Atlantic Canada, attend site meetings, oversee site activities, and provide quality control.
2. Assist with project progress and site reports.
3. Assist with shop drawings, answering Contractor requests for information, and issuing contract changes.
4. Assist with quality control/constructability reviews on drawings and specifications.
5. Collaborate and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

1. 1-5+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects.
2. Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of codes, and familiarity with Nova Scotia construction practices.
3. Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training considered an asset.
4. Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam and Adobe Reader.
