Aggregate Sales Representative

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

FUNCTION: The sales representative is primarily responsible for maintenance of the current customer base, soliciting new business, establishing good relations with contractors, city, and state purchasing employees, while selling company products and performing sales collections.

Wage starting at $80,000 per year.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

1. Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
2. Describe, present, and sell products.
3. Establish and maintain working relationships with current and prospective customers.
4. Investigate new markets and products.
5. Research project requirements and determine sales prospects for products.
6. Establish prices in the accounting system for products and services.
7. Quote prices for products and freight to current and prospective customers.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports.
9. Monitor customer job progress and accuracy of product tickets and orders.
10. Perform credit collection on past due accounts for assigned customers.
11. Assist in dispatch when needed.
12. Establish working relationships with employees that have initial contact with customers.
13. Work closely with managers to determine customer requirements, coordinate the availability of products, and evaluate cost and pricing.
14. Maintain an insurable driving record.
15. Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor of Science degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred
