Role

Seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to build and scale an end-to-end sales automation platform. This role involves designing and coding complex applications, focusing on backend development, performance, reliability, and maintainability. You’ll participate in all stages of software development, impacting early-stage technical decisions as the company prepares for hypergrowth.

• Design, code, and debug complex software applications with a strong focus on backend development using Postgres, Node, and Python
• Develop scalable solutions for B2B sales automation, leveraging cutting-edge ML/AI tooling
• Collaborate with product teams to build user-centric features that drive business growth
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Influence technical decisions, shaping the platform and infrastructure as the company scales

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a well-recognized school.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in modern technologies like React, Node, Python, and cloud providers including Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Passion for pushing the boundaries of technology and driving innovation.
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced startup environment, where your contributions directly influence the company's direction and success.
• Previous experience as a founder or early employee of a venture-backed startup is highly preferred.
• Desire to work in Toronto. The team will be fully Remote to begin, and move to a Hybrid model.
