Adult Female Mentor

Candidates must clearly state the number 2025-007 and how they meet the screening criteria in their cover letter and resume. Resume can be submitted to email admin@ehcregina.ca or fax 306.564.6119. The Adult Female Mentor provides person-centered supports to adults with cognitive disabilities. The Adult Female Mentor will be a strong advocate to deliver culturally relevant, client-centered, and strength-based approached services. This will include:

1. Basic life skills
2. Social/recreation skills
3. Navigating systems to ensure the best quality of life

Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or certification in social work or relevant social science. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge of FASD and/or acquired brain injuries.

Essential Skills:

1. Computer knowledge, which includes databases
2. Quick decision making, problem solving, and critical thinking
3. Continuous learning and professional development
4. Motivational interviewing
5. Mediation/crisis intervention
6. Effective time management and organization skills
7. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
8. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
9. Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work independently or with a team, assisting in all errands with staff

Provide the following:

1. Driving Abstract, proof of insurable vehicle
2. Criminal Record check, and vulnerable sector check
3. CPR/First Aid Certificate
